Cozy atmosphere and friendly locals.
Our first night was disrupted by loud revellers outside our window until midnight. We missed our chance to preorder breakfast because the pub closed earlier than advertised. The dog fee of £10 per night felt excessive, especially when the room wasn't serviced after the first night.

Cozy pub vibes and tasty food!
We had a lovely night at a charming little pub. The food was delish—had lasagne while others went for fish pie and scampi. Big shoutout to the cheese board, it was massive! Rooms were neat and comfy. Just a lil' noise from the pub could be heard, but it added to the atmosphere. Great spot all in all!

we had a great stay at the benett arms. the breakfast was good and filling, and the room was super clean and comfy. the staff were nice and really helpful, even let us check in early! its got a nice cozy pub vibe going one. we felt really welcome n relaxed after a busy day.
only issue was the room could've used a bit more cleaning and maybe a few more options on the dinner menu.

Just a good match for a fleeting moment in Shaftesbury with high value for money. The venison pie was tasty, but small. An early arrival is recommended to avoid missing out on breakfast.
